Notice the discoloration from age
This braid has gone through a lot of investigation.
The original was used in the first version of "The Ten Commandments"
I am assuming there was very little left and after several dry cleanings
this braid started to fray and became worthless. so it was duplicated.. From the
illustration below
we have learned that the beginning of the first season(up till the Menagerie)
the Worms/squigles went in the opposite direction. I've used the Katarra8
Braid as an example...It was then reversed. In the old days we had nothing
but simulated rick rack. Some people did some awesome research and this
braid is now available to fan's that are true to costumes. Please note that
The color of the Katarra braid below is closer to the actual color
than in the pictures on Rodd.com or on Katarra's site.
All are acceptable...My suggestions is to use the Katarra braid with the
velour and the JK or Outworld braid with the Double knit...
