Screen used Rank pins worn by Lt Commander Data.
I had a set of commander pins I sold off years ago. They are mere
ear piercing studs with the jewel cut off then soldered onto the plate.
The backing was then soldered into the hollow back of the pip..
Lincoln Ent. (Now Roddenberry.com) used to sell a very accurate
rank like this..why they switched I dont know...


Fan Produced Ranks
These fan produced pips are about the closest you can get to
the originals. They are attached by strong magnets so you
don't puncture your uniform with the pins. Because these are fan
produced they are not always available. If you would like a set please contact
Federation Surplus..

Screen used 1st season Admirals Rank pin
This rank appears to be a found item although I have not
located it...This was sewn on as you can tell by the corners
and around certain areas of the pin..
