Q: How accurate are your findings
A: I have done extensive research on every uniform featured on this site including examining original on set pieces and obtaining the information from people that have worked on the sets or own original pieces.
Q: Do you make uniforms?
A: Yes
Q: Do you sell Uniforms??
A: Depends..Although I have all the patterns I really do this for myself and to give a bit of knowledge for fans trying to duplicate them as close to accurate as possible.
Q: Who designed your website and how many people are involved?
A: 1 person..ME..as to how many are involved it's just me with help from several people not directly involved with the website but have given knowledge to help me create this site  and the knowledge that goes with it..
Q: I really want a FC/Nemesis uniform...Will you make me one??
A: NO..untill the official release of the pattern comes out I will not make this uniform
Q: There are uniforms not listed on your site..will you offer tutorials for them??
A: Yes... as I make them.
Q: I love your website and have tried to e-mail you with questions but have not got an answer what's up with that?
A: Since Rodd.com several years ago listed me as a tutorial on their patterns I get close to 100 e-mails a day if not more...I have to maintain a house, a job and this site on a daily basis so please be patient with me.
Q: If you do agree to do a uniform for me what is involved?
A: Time and patience plus 50% down(non-refundable). Most that can't sew don't understand the details that go into making an accurate uniform. That's where the time and patience comes to play. The 50% down is to cover cost and materials for the uniform..Most costumers today want it all up front and don't deliver in their time frame or at all..
Q: How long will it take!
A: It depends on the uniform! Some take longer than others. This is another reason for the50% down(non-refundable). If I do make one for you,  time frame will be an estimation.
Q: Why do you require 50% down? And what does estimation mean?
A: 50% down covers the cost of materials  EXAMPLE: a TOS male tunic requires fabric, braid, insignia, etc..Your 50% down pays for everything it takes to make the uniform..NO labor costs..When it is done you will be contacted for the other 50%, Once paid it will ship. Estimation is a time frame that can come in, before or later than the  time frame given..Problem with costumers today is they always give an exact  time frame and don't deliver.
Q: Why is it NON-Refundable?
A: Back in the day when I did costuming as a business we did it this way because many people were attracted by the fact it didn't cost them much to start a uniform...You'd buy all the materials, complete it, then they would back out and you were stuck losing your labor cost plus a uniform on your hands..We were snail mail back then and there was NO eBay..Now if you back out,  there are a ton of auction sites to get our labor back.
Q: What makes you different from other businesses?
A: First, I'm not a business! I do commission work and unlike those businesses I will not take on more than I can handle...I carefully calculate the time it takes to do a uniform. This includes real life situations.
Q: I need it by Halloween
A: Most costuming companies start their Halloween season MID May-June. Most (if they don't over book) have three months to complete all orders, get them shipped by the first of October. Asking for a uniform in September is a guaranteed NO!
Q: What's the difference between Custom Made and Custom Tailored?
A: Custom Made means made to order..We specify what sizes are available and make it when you order it..No off the shelf, that would violate the license. Custom Tailored means made to your measurements you provide. I do NOT do custom tailored..This only drives the cost way up for you...A pattern needs to be altered which is a labor cost in it's own and takes more time which means a longer wait time...
