These insignias are from my personal collection. Most were bought through Lincoln Enterprise. Click to enlarge!

ORIGINAL SERIES
Not too much to the original series but enough to make it authentic

INSIGNIA:
Everybody knows this one. make sure that it is of good quality.
I used very small snaps to attach mine. Do Not sew it down. Does not dry clean well.

RANK BRAID:
This is very difficult to find, but there are ways to duplicate it. The expensive
way is to have an embroiderer do it. Cheaper way, buy a braid kit.

VELCRO:
What's this for? well to get that authentic look you'll need to get
black 2" Velcro, cut one piece 2 1/2" long and sew it to the back of your pants where the
communicator goes. For the phaser, you'll need 1" black Velcro. Sew one half to the hip of
your pants, the other half to a piece of black fabric 4"wide 10"long. On the reverse side, sew
2 pieces of black 2" Velcro 10" long. Attach to your pants. Now your set. All you need to do is
epoxy Velcro to your props.

THE MOVIES

INSIGNIAS:
Best bought through Lincoln Enterprise. Attach to the left breast.
This insignia is a pin with 2 prongs, so be careful, make sure you have it positioned right.
You don't want holes all over your uniform.

RANK PINS:
You'll need two of these. One for the sleeve and one for the shoulder.
DO NOT buy one pin larger than the other. Both rank pins are the same size. If your wearing
captain pins, they should be 2 1/2" long and slightly curved.

PIPS & SQUEEKS:
Gold round pin with lines denotes 5 years of service. Gold oblong pin
with lines denotes Starfleet commendations. Gold round pin with lines and delta symbol denotes
10 years of service. These can be worn to your preference. They are placed on the divisional
arm band.

BELT BUCKLE-FEDERATION SECURITY PIN-TWIST LOCK:
The belt buckle is self explanatory, It should be brass in color. Federation security pin.
What's that? It is the pin that attaches to the back of the divisional strap on the shoulder.
This is made from a model tank wheel painted silver. I drilled a whole in the center and
inserted a tack pin to attach it. Don't worry about being to accurate. No two are alike.
Twist locks you can get at any hobby store and are attached to the shoulder flap
and divisional flap.

TNG-DS9-VOYAGER

INSIGNIA/COMBADGE
There are two types. My recommendations are wear the one you like. Beware of the
shiny badge. Your badge should not be reflective. It should have more of a metallic look. I
attached mine with Velcro like they do on the show, but you can just pin yours.

RANK PIPS
Decide on the rank and pin to your collar.
this is an actual pin to the correct size from the set. If your pins are larger than this
then you must be using the wrong size

HOLSTERS
You'll need these for your phaser and Tricorder.
